Title: Planning Application Monitor

Reports to: Sustain Group Director

Persons Required: up to 1-2

Start Date: Immediate

Project Duration : Ongoing

Terms: Voluntary

Hours / Month: 6-8

Summary Description

1 Monitor planning applications within the Broads associated local authorities for developments that may affect the Broads Fishery
2 Review any highlighted applications with line manager and agree appropriate action
3 Make written representation under BASG on behalf of the Broads Fishery

Skills Required

Communication
IT Competency with Web, email and doc writing

Further Details

1 Local Authoirties have facility to sign up for alerts to planning applications, these are sent via email
2 Important that BASG consults at planning stage as once planning is approved aften little can be done
3 Conditions can be attached to planning to protect fishery but have to be pre-planning
4 We will develop “stock” paragraphs that can be used in representation to make time efficient
