BASG has entered discussions with the Environment Agency in how they can sustain the asset now some 25 year old and in clear need of repair.

The barrier has saved the lives of millions of fish over the years from the seemingly increasing trend of salinity levels reaching near sea water concentrations as far upstream as Potter Heigham.
