Hoveton Great Broad
We await the outcome from the EA on the Environment Permit.
We have escalated the position with the EA unable to provide annual fish survey reports with the area director. For more detail
Angling Access
We have agreed to reconvene the access subgroup to work with the Broads Local Access Forum and secure additional angling access across the Broads. For more detail
Rollesby Broad
We have 99% concluded transfer of these assets at Rollesby Broad to the BASG as a community asset..For more detail
Beccles Quay
We have engaged with Beccles Fenland Charity Trust on the subject of continued angling access along the refurbished quay heading.Once we have gathered the facts we will discuss a way forward. For more info see
Prymnesium
We are pleased that this long concerning issue on how to manage this fish toxic alga has reached conclusion and the necessary actions are in place if and when the next outbreak occurs.

Fishing across the Broads has again been exceptional, with some very successful festivals held on the Thurne and Bure, whilst many visitors also trying angling for the first time, some clearly needing education on their techniques and methods.
