July update from Kelvin – Dissolving BASG
The installation of a removable barrier at Hebert Wood mariner at its confluence with the River Thurne at Potter Heigham was first installed as far back as 1988 when a tidal salt surge killed an estimated 100,000+ fish over wintering in the marina basin.
The current barrier was installed in the mid 90’s and has reached its end of life. The question is, who has the funding available to replacement it. More to follow……
