BASG held its first members meeting for over 18 months last night, with 16 of its members and stakeholder present.
The meeting started with an informal buffet and table discussion. at the George Hotel in Norwich.
Kelvin introduced the evening with a presentation on the structure of BASG, its members role and it’s achievements since formation back in 2018. All of this achieved with little income, but a huge amount of time and effort.
Duncan then presented the challenges facing the Broads and reflection of how we as BASG must involve to ensure the future of Broads Angling is secure.
Then followed a Q/A session on peoples views and issues, across a whole range of subjects facing the Broads and the people using it.
The meeting ended with a show of hands on whether the members supported the general approach to move forward with the proposals outlined by Duncan. This was unanimously agreed
