It’s been some time since we communicated with you all as a subscriber to the Broads Angling Services Group.

We have recently changed our IT systems to make communications easier. We now have a system in place to provide regular updates and specific news on items you have expressed an interest in. These subscriptions will be under your complete control, via our subscription page in the near future..

We have also recently defined our membership roles with the following:

Directors                      These are the company Directors registered with Companies House

Members                      These are the members of the company who own its liabilities

Volunteers                   These are people who volunteer their services to the company

Subscribers                  These are people who register and subscribe to its systems

Professionals               These are people representing organisations who provide support to the company

Clubs                              These are clubs who register and subscribe to its systems

Associates                    These are people who provide financial support via donations to the company

There continues to be significant challenges across our key themes of Access, Environment and specifics like the river Wensum as we move forward. The campaigns section of the site focusses on these key activities and brings all our activities together for easy reference.

The membership section focusses on our group structures and how we are organised, sub group meetings and their activities are contained within this section along with all our communications to our subscribers.

If you would like to become more involved and volunteer your services or time, let us know and we can tag you to our volunteer membership list, or even consider becoming a formal member of the company. Email [email protected]  This provides you with more information and access to participate in some of our sub groups, covering a wide range of topics.

We have recently appointed Tim Colman one of our members to take on the vacant Directors position, Tim has been involved with BASG since 2014 and has recently delivered the uplift to the website and brings a significant business background to the CIC.
